Art and creative thinking are integral to Beth's lifestyle. Her art career includes over 25 years of painting and 18 years of interior design in Atlanta. Extensive travel has influenced her work in street scenes, florals, landscapes and abstracts. The Atchafalaya Basin in Louisiana is her backyard now, allowing her to share the beauty in her life through paintings of the swamp and
Southern images.
Beth cannot imagine life without creativity, she enjoys exchanging experiences about "finding oneself" through any art form. She encourages all ages to express themselves in creative ways. Recently she found an inspiring passage about van Gogh's letters - when he found something he really loved-say the sky- he wanted to show human beings how beautiful the sky was. At this time she is working on the Swamp Skies Series: click on Artist Beth Stark on left of page Thinking forward to the next painting consumes much of her time, initially she showed her work in Atlanta's suburban galleries and juried shows then her business career limited her time for art competitions. Still painting and honing her skills she had a one-woman show at Starbuck's in Roswell, GA and has shown work in galleries in Georgia, Indiana, North Carolina, Florida and Louisiana.
